Biography of Edward Bass the Producer and Director

Edward Bass is a Golden Globe Nominee for being a great producer. He was able to produce 5 films independently in just 2 years which is a remarkable feat. The reason behind his success as a producer is really because of the life he had. According to him he had a challenging life but he’s not sad about this because it’s what gave him the insights and the drive to excel in the many life challenges especially those thrown at him by the film industry.

It is tough but Mr. Bass is tougher that’s why the documentaries, plays and movies he made are as diversified and as complicated as his own life. Many calls him as an opinionated producer and also as a determined producer and those are the reasons why he has the eye to find the right actors to play every part in the projects he’s making and he knows the right actor when he finds one.

Edward Bass ending up in the film industry does not come as a surprise as he was exposed to this life even as a young boy. His family would bring him on weekends and in between their ski trips to go to New York or to Las Vegas. Here they would arrange for a visit with some popular celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. As a young boy he also was able to meet up with Milton Berle who, incidentally, ended up being one of the actors he managed later on in his life. While he was still studying at Beverly Hills High School, he was able to meet many big names as his home became the place for unplanned get-togethers with such actors.

Eventually Edward Bass became a manager with the likes of Julio Caesar Chavez who became the highest priced boxer in the super middleweight division ever in the history while he was still under Bass’ management. He also was able to produce several musicals then later on produced quality films. He had done a lot in his life and was able to help out the less fortunate such as when he developed the Toyskis for Totskis that gave away toys in Russia. Currently, Mr. Bass is busy with his directorial debut. It’s been over a year that he’s working on the film those talks about the life of Belle Gunness, the first female serial killer of the modern times.
